What’s your pleasure? A stroll by the creek. Catch with your kid on a Saturday afternoon. A bike ride through the oak woodlands? You can bet it’s going to be fun.

Rolling meadows, grasslands and Kaseburg and Pleasant Grove Creeks give the Fiddyment Farm setting an undeniable Sierra foothill character over its 1,700 acres – one that lends itself to a creative community plan. Instead of being hidden from view, parks and open space have been incorporated into neighborhood designs and streetscapes to be enjoyed by all. Off-street walking paths and bike trails connect homes, the three schools and 14 parks. Wetlands, vernal pools and the historic Fiddyment homestead have been preserved – the latter as part of a central, community park.
The community plan includes:

  • Regional and community parks with sports fields (198 acres)
  • Six "pocket" parks (17 acres)
  • Approximately 6.5 miles of bicycling/walking trails, which connect to more than 96 miles of regional bike trails within Roseville
  • Preserved and dedicated open space (340 acres)
  • 2 Planned Elementary Schools (Roseville City School District)
  • Proposed High School (Roseville Joint Union High School District)
